  • 2 boxes (3 ounces each) watermelon-flavored gelatin These will provide the vibrant color and sweet taste.
  • 2 cups boiling water Essential for dissolving the gelatin.
  • 1 cup cold water Helps to cool down the mixture before pouring into the watermelon shell.

  2. Cut the watermelon in half lengthwise using a sharp knife.
  3. Scoop out the flesh, leaving enough shell to hold its shape.
  4. Pat the inside of the shells dry to allow for better jello adherence.
Mixing

  2. Stir in cold water to bring the mixture to a manageable temperature.
  3. (Optional) Add gummy candies to the mixture for an extra surprise.
Assembly
  1. Pour the gelatin mixture into the watermelon halves carefully.
  2. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight to set.
  3. Once set, cut the watermelon halves into wedges for serving.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves and serve cold.

Notes

To enhance the dish, choose a perfectly ripe watermelon and experiment with different gelatin flavors. Storing tips: Cover the wedges with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container and consume within 3-5 days for optimal freshness.
