Assembling Turnovers
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Place a scoop of the apple filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to create triangles and press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a shiny finish.
Baking
- Place the turnovers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool before serving.
Notes
