  • 2 large Eggs Helps fluff ‘em up
  • 1 cup Milk Any kind works, even plant-based
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Just a bit for richness
Toppings
  • 1 cup Fresh berries Mix of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup Real deal preferred
Optional Extras
  • to taste Whipped cream For topping
  • to taste Toasted nuts Walnuts recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. In a bowl, mix the waffle mix, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth. Don't worry about lumps.
Cooking
  1. Pour batter onto the preheated waffle iron.
  2. Cook until golden brown and crispy, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Once done, stack the waffles on a plate.
Serving
  1. Pour maple syrup over the waffles and top with fresh berries.
  2. Add any optional toppings like whipped cream, nuts, or cinnamon.

Notes

Use whole wheat or oat flour for a healthier option. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge or frozen. Reheat in toaster for the best results.
