Sweet Potato Mash Ingredients

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a baking dish.
Baking Meatloaf
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Cooking Sweet Potatoes
  1. In a large pot, boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, and maple syrup. Mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Making Cranberry Sauce
  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
Serving
  1. Serve turkey meatloaf alongside sweet potato mash and spoon cranberry sauce over the top.

Notes

For added nutrition, consider adding grated carrots or zucchini to the meatloaf mix. Prepare cranberry sauce ahead of time for best flavor.
