Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
- Start by prepping your ingredients: chop parsley or measure out spices beforehand.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they’re golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Pour the chicken broth into the skillet to deglaze the pan, scraping up those delicious browned bits.
- Add the prepared butter mixture to the skillet and cook until it becomes smooth and silky.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Serving
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite side dish.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider brining the chicken in a saltwater solution for 30 minutes before cooking. Optional: Add fresh lemon juice or zest into the butter sauce for a citrus twist.
