Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk Creamy and luscious, perfect for blending.
  • 1/4 cup strawberry puree Fresh and vibrant for that irresistible fruity flavor.
  • 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream Sweet and rich, it adds an indulgent touch.
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes Provides that perfect chill to the drink.
  • 1 tbsp sugar Enhance the sweetness, just as you prefer.
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract A subtle hint of vanilla to elevate the flavor profile.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by blending half a cup of cleaned strawberries until smooth. If you prefer a seedless drink, you can strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any seeds.
  2. In a blender, combine the milk, strawberry puree, vanilla ice cream, ice cubes, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and smooth, taking about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Check the consistency of your drink. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk. If it’s too thin, toss in an extra ice cube or another scoop of ice cream.
  5. Pour the beautiful pink mixture into a tall glass. Optionally, top your drink with whipped cream, fresh strawberries slices, and crumbled shortbread.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw while it’s still cold for the best experience.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for maximum flavor. For extra brightness, blend in a dash of lemon juice. Consider adding cream cheese or Greek yogurt for a creamier texture and added protein. Frozen strawberries can be used for a cooler, thicker drink.
