  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced Sweetened by the sun.
For the Custard
  • 1 cup vanilla custard Velvety and smooth.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the fresh milk and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gradually mix this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
