Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and prepare your cookie sheets by greasing them lightly or using parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and oil. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently to ensure even distribution throughout the dough.
- Take about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll them into balls. Place the balls on your prepared cookie sheet, leaving space between each.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a wooden spoon or the bottom of a cup.
Baking
- Bake the cookies for 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the tops look slightly soft.
- Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
To enhance flavor, consider adding finely chopped strawberries or crushed nuts. Adjust baking time if you change cookie sizes. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze the dough for future baking.
