- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the noodles. Stir occasionally until they are tender yet firm, usually about 3-5 minutes for egg noodles or 5-7 minutes for rice noodles. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Wait until the oil shimmers.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute, taking care to prevent burning.
- Add soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine. The mixture will bubble gently.
- Toss in the cooked noodles and mix until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider using skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts. You can also swap regular soy sauce for a low-sodium option. For a veggie-packed version, add bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas during cooking.
