  • 1 tsp grated ginger Compliments garlic beautifully.
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes Optional for extra heat.
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch Creates a sticky glaze.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil For cooking chicken.
  • 8 oz noodles Rice or egg noodles work well.
  • 2 green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds Optional topping.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and optional red chili flakes. Whisk until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
  3. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  4. Add the drained noodles to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss gently.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

For more heat, increase red chili flakes. Pre-cooked chicken can save time. Marinate chicken for richer flavor.
