Preparation
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil for the noodles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, peanut butter, chili powder, and spicy chili crisp, then set it aside.
Cooking the Steak and Vegetables
- Heat 30 ml of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the ribeye pieces for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, heat remaining olive oil, add broccoli, onion, and bell pepper, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
Cooking the Noodles and Combining
- Cook the brown rice noodles according to package instructions (6-8 minutes), drain, and set aside.
- Add shrimp to the vegetable mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
- Combine cooked noodles, seared steak, and prepared sauce in the skillet, tossing over medium heat until everything is well-coated and heated through.
Notes
Use high-quality sauces for better flavor. For a creamier sauce, add a splash of coconut milk. Substitute shrimp and steak with more vegetables for a vegetarian option. Top with crushed peanuts for extra crunch.
