- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the brisket, allowing it to penetrate the meat.
Cooking
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the brisket and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Slice or shred the brisket against the grain and serve with the reserved cooking liquid.
Notes
For deeper flavor, consider marinating the brisket overnight. You can also add cayenne pepper for a kick or extra brown sugar for sweetness. Adding vegetables like carrots and potatoes can simplify meal prep.
