Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your baking surface by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly greasing it with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the breakfast sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and drained Rotel tomatoes. Mix until well blended.
- Add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper if desired, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Stir until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it for a day. Feel free to mix different cheeses for unique flavors or serve with dips for added enjoyment.
