Coating Ingredients
  • 1 10 ounce package white melting chocolate For coating the cake balls.
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles For decoration.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease three 8×8-inch baking pans.
  3. Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions.
  4. Divide the batter into three bowls: one plain, one with red food coloring, and one with blue food coloring.
Baking
  1. Pour each colored batter into prepared pans and bake for 14-16 minutes.
  2. Allow the cakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
Assembly
  1. Crumble the cooled cakes into separate bowls.
  2. Mix an equal portion of softened cream cheese into each bowl until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a tray. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  4. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing them back on the tray.
  6. Sprinkle the cake balls with red, white, and blue sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Refrigerate for an additional 15 minutes to let the chocolate set.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Use store-bought melting chocolate for simplicity.
