Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly.
- Add the egg and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Roll out the dough to around 0.5 cm thick and cut into desired shapes.
- Place half of the cookies on a baking sheet and spoon a small amount of raspberry jam onto each.
- Top with the remaining cookies, sealing the edges to keep the jam contained.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough if sticky, experiment with different fruit jams, and ensure cookie shapes are similar for even baking.
