Method
Make the Pumpkin Mascarpone Filling
- Whisk together the pumpkin puree, mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
Whip the Cream
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the pumpkin mixture.
Prepare the Espresso Dip
- Brew the strong coffee or espresso and let it cool, optionally adding coffee liqueur, rum, or bourbon.
Dip the Ladyfingers
- Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, without making them too soggy.
Assemble the Tiramisu
- Layer the dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone filling in a dish, ending with a layer of the pumpkin mixture.
Chill
- Refrigerate the assembled tiramisu for at least 4 hours.
Dust and Serve
- Dust the top with cocoa powder or cinnamon before serving.
Notes
Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu can be made in advance, with flavors melding overnight in the fridge. To avoid soggy ladyfingers, limit the soaking time.
