Ingredients
  

Potsticker Ingredients
  • 10-12 pieces frozen potstickers or gyoza Do not thaw for optimal texture
  • ¼ cup water For steaming
Vegetable Ingredients
  • 4-5 pieces white button mushrooms, sliced For an earthy flavor
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Adds crunch and vibrant color
  • 20 pieces green beans, sliced into thirds For a fresh, crisp bite
  • 1 large carrot, sliced thin on a bias For sweetness and color
  • ¼ cup small diced onion To enhance savory depth
Cooking Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For a nutty aroma
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil For sautéing
  • to taste sesame seeds For garnish
  • to taste green onions For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add small diced onions to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Toss in sliced mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add frozen potstickers and water. Cover the skillet and steam for 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, sugar or honey, ginger, cornstarch, and cold water.
  6. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and potstickers. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Consider adding minced garlic for extra flavor, a dash of red pepper flakes for heat, or serve over rice or noodles for a more filling meal. Leftovers can be frozen for 2-3 months.
