Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together 2 teaspoons of matcha powder with a small amount of hot water until smooth.
  2. Gently heat 1 cup of milk in a saucepan until steaming, being careful not to boil it.
  3. Froth the milk using a whisk or a frother for a lovely creamy finish.
  4. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of sweetener into the matcha mixture until well combined.
  5. Carefully pour the steamed milk over the matcha mixture and mix well.
  6. Drizzle black sugar on top and optionally add whipped cream.
  7. Serve hot or over ice.

Notes

To achieve the perfect froth, consider investing in a milk frother or using a French press. Experiment with flavored syrups or sprinkle cocoa powder for added flavor.
