  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Brings a luscious texture that binds the cookie crumbs together.
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract Fills each bite with refreshing, minty notes.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Creates a luxurious shell that envelops the truffle.
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes Adds crunch and a burst of minty freshness.

  1. Begin by placing the entire package of Oreo cookies into a food processor. Pulse the cookies until they transform into fine, powder-like crumbs.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Take small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls for consistent size.
  4. Place the rolled truffles on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips at 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Retrieve the chilled truffles from the fridge, dipping each into the melted white chocolate, ensuring an even coat.
  7. While the white chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed candy canes atop each truffle.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for the best mixing. Keep truffles chilled until ready for coating. These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
