- In a large bowl, combine eggs, melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the dry yellow cake mix evenly in the baking dish to create a base.
- Pour the wet mixture evenly over the cake mix, ensuring it soaks through.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the cake mixture evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
