Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay out your sheet of puff pastry or flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Drizzle the sheet with olive oil, spreading it evenly over the surface.
- Arrange the thinly sliced pears on top of the flatbread. Overlap them slightly.
- Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese generously over the pears.
Baking
- Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Remove the flatbread and drizzle it with honey. Top with chopped walnuts and a handful of fresh arugula.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary before baking, or a dash of chili flakes for spice. Let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
