For the Topping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix with water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. While the cake is baking, prepare the filling by mixing peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Whip the heavy cream in another bowl until soft peaks form, then fold into the peanut butter mixture.
Assembly
  1. Once the cake is completely cool, carefully roll it from one edge using parchment paper for support.
  2. Unroll the cake and spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the surface. Roll it back tightly without the parchment paper.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the rolled cake. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before slicing.

Notes

Ensure the cake is completely cool before spreading the filling. For a twist, mix in chopped peanuts or sprinkle with sea salt on top. Can use store-bought chocolate cake to save time.
