Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until fully combined.
  4. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Spoon brownie batter into muffin tins, filling each about 3/4 full.
Baking
  1. Bake in preheated oven for 15–18 minutes until tops are set.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  2. Spread peanut butter mixture over cooled brownie cups.
  3. Press additional chocolate chips into the peanut buttery topping.
