Ingredients

For the dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar adds rich, gooey texture
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for extra sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons milk to bring everything together
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract adds warmth
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour base of our cookie dough
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt balances the sweetness
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips for chocolatey goodness
  • 1/2 cup colorful candy-coated chocolates (like M&Ms) for a pop of fun
For the dipping
  • 200 g milk chocolate, melted for dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently mix in the flour and salt until just combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips and colorful candy-coated chocolates.
  4. Scoop out small portions of dough and roll them into bite-sized balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the baking sheet in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour, until dough balls are firm.
  6. Dip each dough ball into melted milk chocolate, covering about half, and place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Let the dipped bites sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, or refrigerate for quicker setting.

Notes

For variations, try using dark or white chocolate chips, add a pinch of cinnamon, or include nuts for extra texture.
