Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Without separating them, slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  3. Spread softened butter on the cut sides of both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered rolls if desired.
  5. Distribute the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the bottom half.
  6. Carefully place the top half of the rolls back onto the cheesy bottom half.
  7. Wrap the entire sandwich in aluminum foil.
Baking
  1. Place the wrapped rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Unwrap the foil to achieve a golden crust and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Once done, remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then slice into smaller portions.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality cheese. Consider adding tomatoes or bacon bits for extra flavor. Keep an eye on the rolls near the end of baking to prevent over-browning.
