Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the room temperature butter and granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully integrated.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the creamed butter and eggs, mixing gently until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  8. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving space between each.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers stay soft.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
