Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the lemon filling.
  5. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture.
