Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Unroll the crescent dough sheets and pinch the seams together, shaping it into a large rectangle.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese along one edge of the rolled-out dough.
- Lay a sausage link atop the cheese and roll it up tightly, sealing the seam well.
- For a creamy center, spread cream cheese on another sheet of dough before laying a sausage link on top and rolling it up.
- Slice the rolls into ¾-inch rounds and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
Glazing and Baking
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Brush the glaze over the rolls generously.
- Sprinkle the rolls with poppy seeds for crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve with a variety of dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue. Be sure to seal the dough properly to avoid leaks during baking.
