Preparation
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Finely chop the Italian deli meats, olives, roasted red peppers, and cherry tomatoes if using.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped ingredients, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently but thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and mold into a log shape. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Unwrap the log and roll it in chopped herbs or antipasto mix before serving.
- Slice into rounds and serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
Notes
For the best presentation, finish with a roll in chopped herbs or antipasto mix just before serving. The log can be prepared up to two days ahead for better flavor blending.
