  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adds aromatic savoriness.
  • 1 small bunch fresh parsley, chopped Adds freshness and color.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Wonton Wrappers and Frying
  • 1 pack wonton wrappers (12 ounces) Thin sheets for encasing the filling.
  • Vegetable oil, for frying For obtaining crispy exterior.

Method
 

Preparation of Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, ricotta cheese, and softened cream cheese. Stir gently until creamy and smooth.
  2. Add in honey, red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Stir thoroughly.
Assembling the Wontons
  1. Place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  2. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold to form a triangle, and press to seal tightly.
  3. Crimp the edges with a fork to secure the filling.
Frying the Wontons
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully add a few wonton rolls to the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to drain excess oil and place on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, drizzling more honey on top and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Ensure wontons are sealed tightly to prevent filling leaks during frying. Avoid overcrowding the frying pan. For a healthier option, bake instead of frying.
