Preparation of Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, ricotta cheese, and softened cream cheese. Stir gently until creamy and smooth.
- Add in honey, red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Stir thoroughly.
Assembling the Wontons
- Place about one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold to form a triangle, and press to seal tightly.
- Crimp the edges with a fork to secure the filling.
Frying the Wontons
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add a few wonton rolls to the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Use a slotted spoon to drain excess oil and place on paper towels.
Serving
- Serve warm, drizzling more honey on top and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Ensure wontons are sealed tightly to prevent filling leaks during frying. Avoid overcrowding the frying pan. For a healthier option, bake instead of frying.
