Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, about two inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For the best results, use softened butter. Consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or cinnamon for extra flavor. Experiment with different chocolate types for variety.
