  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced peaches and ½ cup of granulated sugar. Blend until smooth or pulse for a chunkier texture.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the peach puree gently until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
