- In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced peaches and ½ cup of granulated sugar. Blend until smooth or pulse for a chunkier texture.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Stir in the peach puree gently until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
