Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Form the chicken mixture into two equal-sized patties.
Cooking
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
- In a small bowl, mix the low-fat mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until smooth.
- Lightly toast the whole wheat hamburger buns.
Assembly
- Spread the creamy sauce on the bottom half of each bun, and place a chicken patty on top.
- Stack on the shredded lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and pickles.
- Cap it off with the other bun halves.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store the patties in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, use an airtight container. When ready, reheat in a skillet or microwave.
