Preparation
  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and chopped onion, cooking until browned (about 7-10 minutes).
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the beef mixture into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the creamy mixture, drained green beans, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Pour this blend into a greased casserole dish, smoothing the surface.
  7. Scatter the reserved French fried onions over the top.
  8. Sprinkle with paprika if using.
  9. Place the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  10. Once baked, let it cool slightly before serving.
