  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) Enhances overall flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds warmth and depth of flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning Or to taste.
  • 1/2 cup beef broth Add more broth if needed for moisture.

  • Sour cream (optional, for serving) Adds tangy richness.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook and break it up until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to a paper towel-lined plate and drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the chopped onions. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook uncovered for about 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Once the cabbage is tender, stir in the garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and add the browned beef back to the pan. Mix thoroughly and heat through.
  7. Taste and season generously with salt and pepper, then serve with sour cream if desired.

Notes

For a healthier twist, substitute lean ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
