Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients and prep them ahead of time.
Making the Sauce
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, toasted sesame oil, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and minced garlic. Whisk until perfectly combined.
Cooking the Broccoli
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the broccoli and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Transfer it to a plate to retain its color and crunch.
Cooking the Beef
- Return the skillet to heat, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, and the ground beef. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Spoon out any excess fat if necessary.
Combining Ingredients
- Lower the heat to medium, return the broccoli to the skillet, and pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli mixture. Stir well to coat.
- Cook for an additional 1-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serving
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
