Method

Marination
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Shrimp Preparation
  1. In a separate bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and stir gently for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, lemon juice, and another pinch of salt.
Assembling the Skewers
  1. Thread the marinated steak and shrimp alternately onto skewers.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until shrimp is pink and steak is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Serving
  1. Drizzle the warm garlic butter sauce over the skewers just before serving.

Notes

Consider adding bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, or red onion to your skewers. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor. A grill pan can be used if outdoor grilling isn't available.
