Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs Your choice, both work well.
  • 2 pieces Fresh peaches Use ripe but slightly firm peaches.
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Store-bought BBQ sauce can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or brown sugar For added sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For marinating the chicken and grilling the peaches.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Optional for additional flavor.
Garnish
  • To taste Fresh herbs (basil or cilantro) For topping at the end.

Method

Marinating and Grilling
  1. Combine the chicken, olive oil, BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper in a bag and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. Lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked, adding the remaining BBQ sauce in the last few minutes.
  5. Grill the peach halves cut-side down for about 3 minutes, flipping them just once to avoid mushiness.
Serving
  1. Drizzle both the chicken and peaches with extra BBQ sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
  2. Plate the dish and enjoy!

Notes

Be cautious not to overcook the peaches or the chicken. Serve with sides like grilled corn or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
