  • 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese Nutritional yeast can be a great dairy-free alternative.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped parsley Basil or cilantro can also work well.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped chives Green onions can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Finely diced shallots Yellow onions can provide a similar taste.
  • to taste Salt Use to enhance flavor.
  • to taste Pepper Season according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Clean the fresh oysters thoroughly under cold water, scrubbing the shells with a brush to remove any grit.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, finely diced shallots, grated parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Carefully shuck the oysters, discarding the top shell and keeping the oysters in the bottom half.
Grilling
  1. Place oysters on a tray or grilling-safe platter.
  2. Spoon a generous amount of the savory butter mixture onto each oyster.
  3. Grill the oysters for about 5-7 minutes, until the butter is bubbling and the edges start to curl.
  4. Once cooked, carefully remove the oysters from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley.

Notes

Choose quality oysters for best taste. Experiment with flavors by adding lemon juice or hot sauce for an extra kick. Consider using a grill pan if you're inexperienced with shucking oysters.
