Method
 

Cleaning and Boiling the Octopus
  1. Rinse the octopus under cold water.
  2. Flip the head inside out, remove the hard beak and snip off the eyes.
  3. Boil in generously salted water until fork-tender, about 30-40 minutes.
  4. Drain and let the octopus cool slightly.
Grilling the Octopus
  1. Rub the octopus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the octopus for 3-4 minutes per side, ensuring even cooking.
  4. Remove from grill and let it rest before serving.

Notes

Marinating the octopus overnight can enhance the flavor. Serve with fresh lemon and parsley.
