  • 2 tsp ground ginger Infuses warmth and spice.
  • 2 tsp cinnamon Adds a comforting, sweet aroma.
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg Enhances the warm spices.
  • 1 pinch ground cloves Brings depth and complexity.
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds Vegan egg substitute for binding ingredients.
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup Naturally sweetens the batter.
  • 300 ml soy milk Dairy-free option for creaminess.
  • 200 ml water Ensures perfect batter consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients—oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir well.
  2. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the maple syrup and soy milk. Stir until just combined, then let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. After resting, pour in 200 ml of water and blend until smooth.
Cooking
  1. Grease the waffle iron with coconut oil.
  2. Pour the batter into the heated waffle maker, leaving space for expansion. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Carefully remove the waffles and serve as desired.

Notes

For added sweetness, drizzle more maple syrup on top. Consider folding in nuts or dark chocolate chips for extra texture. Fresh blueberries can add a fruity twist.
