Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes Tender, flaky, and oh-so-delicious!
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil To give the salmon a rich base flavor and crispiness.
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika Adding depth and a subtle smokiness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhancing the garlic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder A savory touch.
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust to your taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste To round out the flavors.
For the Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For that luscious, velvety sauce.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for an aromatic punch.
  • 1/4 cup honey Gives a sweet glaze.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Balances the sweetness.
  • Fresh parsley chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss the salmon cubes in olive oil until coated, then sprinkle the spice mixture over them.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon bites in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in honey and lemon juice, allowing it to thicken for about a minute.
  4. Return the salmon bites to the skillet, coating them in the garlic honey butter.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley and an extra drizzle of honey.

Notes

For a healthier version, replace honey with a low-calorie sweetener and butter with a non-dairy option. Avoid overbaking the salmon to keep it tender.
