Preparation

  2. Sauté the chopped spinach over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until it wilts. Drain any excess liquid.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and fresh basil. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold the wilted spinach into the ricotta mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, and consider garnishing with extra fresh basil.

Notes
