Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of sugar, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  2. Gradually add in the 1 cup of full-fat plain yogurt and warm water as needed until the dough comes together.
  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
  5. After resting, divide the dough into equal portions and roll each piece into an oval shape.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook each piece of naan for about 2 minutes on one side until bubbles form and it begins to brown.
  3. Flip and cook for an additional minute until achieving a perfect golden hue.

Notes

Ensure that yogurt is at room temperature for easier blending and preheat your skillet for a lovely golden naan. Avoid overworking the dough and allow proper resting time to achieve the best texture.
