Ingredients
  

Jello Layers
  • 2 cups boiling water Essential for dissolving the jello.
  • 1 cup cold water Balances the temperature for the jello.
  • 1 packet (3 oz) red fruit-flavored jello Creates the first layer.
  • 1 packet (3 oz) green fruit-flavored jello Brings a refreshing flavor.
Creamy Layer
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz) unflavored gelatin powder Stabilizes the creamy layers.
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Adds creaminess to the dessert.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil in a small pot. Remove from heat and stir in the red jello until fully dissolved.
  2. Incorporate the cold water, then pour mixture into a clear dish or individual cups. Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until set.
Make Creamy Layer
  1. In a separate bowl, combine unflavored gelatin with ½ cup warm water. Stir until dissolved, then add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
  2. Once the red jello layer is firm, gently pour the creamy mixture over the top and return to fridge to set, approximately 1-2 hours.
Prepare Green Layer
  1. Dissolve the green jello in 1 cup of boiling water and combine it with 1 cup of cold water.
  2. Once the creamy layer is firm, pour the green jello over it and refrigerate until set, approximately 2 hours.
Layering
  1. Continue layering with the remaining jello colors finishing with a final layer of jello. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For fun shapes, use cookie cutters once the jello is set. Garnish with seasonal fruits or whipped cream for added flair. Consider sugar-free versions if reducing sugar.
