- Gather all ingredients.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and whole milk over low heat. Stir gently.
- Add granulated sugar and whisk until dissolved.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let bloom for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the cream mixture from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until melted.
- Mix in any additional flavoring (citrus zest, fruit puree).
- Cool slightly, pour into serving cups using a strainer.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, dip cups in warm water to loosen edges or serve directly in cups. Top with fresh berries or fruit sauce.
