Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together until creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until everything is combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
  8. Press chocolate Easter bunny candies and chocolate eggs gently into the top of each cookie dough ball.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden, and the centers are still soft.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze portions wrapped in plastic wrap.
