Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until everything is combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
- Drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
- Press chocolate Easter bunny candies and chocolate eggs gently into the top of each cookie dough ball.
Baking
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden, and the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze portions wrapped in plastic wrap.
