Incorporating Ingredients
- Add in the freeze-dried strawberries, protein powder, almond flour, oats, honey or agave syrup, and salt. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
Chill Time
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Shaping the Balls
- After chilling, roll the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Coating in Strawberry Crunch
- Roll each protein ball in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries for coating.
Final Set
- Place the coated protein balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for an additional 15-20 minutes to set.
Notes
To make the process smoother, soften your cream cheese at room temperature beforehand. For added fun, consider mixing in some chocolate chips or nuts. You could experiment with almond extract in place of vanilla as well.
