Preparation
  1. Cut each mozzarella stick in half for perfect pieces that are easy to handle and fry.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning.
  3. Coat each cheese piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  4. Freeze the breaded sticks on a parchment-lined tray for at least 30 minutes to help keep the cheese intact while frying.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fry the mozzarella sticks in small batches for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
