- Coat each cheese piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
- Freeze the breaded sticks on a parchment-lined tray for at least 30 minutes to help keep the cheese intact while frying.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in small batches for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
