For the Dip

Method
 

Preparation of Apples
  1. Wash the apples thoroughly under cool running water, core and slice them into wedges about 1-inch thick.
  2. Pat the wedges dry with a clean kitchen towel to ensure they aren’t too watery before frying.
Mix the Dry Ingredients
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, salt, and a pinch of nutmeg. Whisk until well combined.
Coating the Apple Wedges
  1. Drizzle the apple wedges with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and toss gently to coat.
  2. Roll each wedge in the flour mixture, then in the panko breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Arrange the coated apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
Prepare the Dip
  1. Whisk together the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until smooth in a small bowl.
Serving
  1. Transfer the crispy apple fries to a serving platter and serve immediately with the yogurt dip.
